Hi, my name is Bee
And I’m obsessed with headscarves. My journey with head scarves began at a young age when I would default to them as a way to manage my hard-to-style hair and poor time management skills. Since then, colorful and fun head wrappings have been a true and honest way for me to express myself, elevate an outfit, and protect my hair. Over the years, I seemed to have mastered the art of a cotton bandana, a linen wrap, even the occasional velvet scarf, but there was always one elusive fabric that got away from me (literally)… Silk. Let’s be real, not all of us have the thickest hair, or the perfect shaped head, and I was born on the misfortunate side of both. Womp womp. I struggled for years with scarves slipping and sliding all over the place, I tried ugly pins and clips to keep them in place, which not only clashed with elegance of a silk scarf, but hurt my head and pulled at my hair. Hair I cannot afford to lose. I lost hope and eventually just gave up on trying to make silk work for me. One day, on a long ten hour drive down the Mississippi, an idea came to me. What if I just invented a silk scarf that didn’t move? Lots of folks wear clip in extensions with hair much thinner than mine and they stay without a problem. So, I thought why not combine the technology of clip in extensions with silk scarves and see what happens. And that’s how SnapScarves were born. An easy to use ready to style silk scarf that utilizes clip in extension technology to harness the power of a stay-all-day accessory without the hassle of pins, clips, and hair loss, all while maintaining the sleek elegance that makes silk so special. Not only will the SnapScarf stay in place all day, it is virtually undetectable and feels seamless once secured in place. I am so very proud of the mission I have created, my brand SadaSilk, Sada being derived from the Sanskrit word for Everlasting, aims to be an all inclusive alternative to mainstream headwear. Thank you so much for supporting my small business, this is truly a project of passion for me and my ultimate goal is to help others who wish to protect their Crown Chakras with gentle and stylish silk no matter the circumstance.
